Derby Quad to Swarkestone and back

This a friendly ride suitable for beginners as part of the BREEZE cycle network. We will start at the Quad in Derby city centre and will cycle along the cycle path which takes you along the river, through Alvaston park and continuing on the cycle path to Chellaston where we will cycle through Sinfin Moor and onto the canal where will meet the main cycle path back to city centre. The route 13 miles and almost completely off road completely off road. We will finish at the Quad for a drink and social time. Please bring a bike, cycle helmet, bottle of water and you will benefit from glasses along the river to protect your eyes from flies. Please note that in the event of bad weather, I will probably cancel.
