Daventry to Stockton Loop 29m ACW

We are starting from Daventry this week to add a bit of variety to the Sunday rides. I hope some of you can come along to explore a bit further afield.

This is a leisurely social ride, aiming for around 11-12mph. We will aim to stay together as a group for the whole ride, and ride at the pace of the slowest rider. Please do not sign up unless you are prepared to do that.

The route will take us through Daventry, Welton, Braunston, Willoughby, Sawbridge and Broadwell to Stockton. We return via Napton, Priors Marston, Hellidon and Staverton.

Much of this is on the 'flatlands', which is relatively flat, but there are several testing climbs as well!
**
There are 2 shortish sections of main road, but hopefully they should not be too busy on a Sunday.
**
We will stop at Josie's Place in Stockton for refreshments. They close at 2pm, so I'm attempting to start quite early.
PLEASE BE ON TIME.
Not sure if they will have a full menu, but we should be able to get tea, coffee, cake and sausage rolls.

Bring the usual - helmet, spare tube, money etc.
