Dark Breeze - Eagle and Edenfield

Want to get some confidence riding on the road at night? Then this ride is for you! Starting from outside the Eagle and Child Pub, Whalley Road, Ramsbottom, we'll take a circular route into Rawtenstall, past Tesco's and then back to the Eagle and Child. It is a completely road route, but should be reasonably quiet , and there are some cycle lanes that we will use. Please make sure that your bike has working lights, front and rear. High-vis vests will be provided. Yes there are some undulations, but they just make it more interesting! Help and advice will be given to help you get up them, but remember that we are 'not too posh to push' This is a nice route if you want to get some road and hill experience in a friendly atmosphere. As with all Breeze rides we will go at the pace of the slowest rider and no-one will be left behind. Please make sure that you are suitably dressed for the weather, and bringing a spare inner tube is always a good idea, as well as a drink. If you bring a lock and some money we will be able to stop finish our ride with a glass of lemonade in the the Eagle and Child. Meet outside the Eagle and Child pub just before 10am - please DO NOT park in the pub car park as it is very small, but there is plenty of on street parking available.
