Danefield Circular

This lovely ride is completely off-road in the beautiful Chevin Forest Park.  We leave the car park via the main track which is level, but occasionally muddy after rainfall (more mud means more fun!).  We follow this until it bears to the right up the only climb on our route.  If you feel like walking then that is fine, we stop at the top to catch our breath anyway, and to admire the views!  Once at the top we follow the crest of the hill (level ground) until the track descends making its way back to our starting point.  From here, we can either finish the ride, or do it all again! If the weather is unkind then it would be advisable to bring a waterproof coat and warm clothing with you.  Equally, if it is hot then don't forget your sun cream and water bottle.
