About the route
We start our ride at Leigh College. After a quick bike check we'll head off into Pennington Flash where we'll join the Leeds to Liverpool Canal. We'll make our way down the canal towpath into Astley and to the Bull's Head for a drink and a chat.
We'll then head back via the guided busway cycle path.
This is a nice gentle ride of approx 11 miles and is mainly flat. Please remember to bring some money for refreshments and a lock to secure your bike.
