We will complete an 8 mile circuit incorporating parts of the Stevenage cycleway system. In particular we will discover some of the cycleways that were once ancient lanes linking the villages before Stevenage New Town was built.

After reaching the edge of Stevenage via Old Lane and Watton Road, we will use the cycleway system and some quiet link roads before returning to Knebworth on the gravel pathway between Hertford Road and Oakfields Road.

We will have a short pause at the Stevenage Cycling Hub in Fairlands Valley Park.

Bring a drink and snack if you wish and an extra layer or waterproof according to the forecast.

Cycling UK run ABC rides every Saturday morning from the Stevenage Cycling Hub. We are delighted to have this special one as part of the Knebworth Festival.
