Cycling for a Garden Visit with lunch

Starting from - Meeting on the road outside the Village Hall at Ashford Carbonel at 9.45 for the usual bike checks ready to set off at 10am.

Before we start we'll run through a basic bike check and check everyone's feeling comfortable on their bikes. We will be riding as a group so will stick together, leaving noone behind and being a safer group for cars to pass.

Let's hope it's a bright sunny day but it'd be a good idea to bring a waterproof/gloves/thin extra layer if chilly or sunscreen lotion if hot and any water/refreshments you think you might need en route. A helmet is advisable but Lycra is not needed! Just clothes you feel comfortable wearing when out on a bike, preferably something bright to make us visible on the roads. If you've a spare inner tube or puncture kit and pump, it's a good idea to bring it along - just in case.

You don't need any special clothing, as long as you are warm, comfortable and waterproof (if necessary) - a helmet is recommended. We will be stopping for coffee, but do bring any water or other refreshments you think you may need for the ride.
