Enjoy a sail across Lake Windermere on the unique Bike Boat as part of this ride.  Starting from Brockhole Visitor Centre head across Windermere to access the peaceful western shore and follow a traffic-free trail to Wray Castle www.nationaltrust.org.uk/wray-castle/

From there quiet lanes take you to the historic village of Hawkshead and onward to Near Sawrey, the location of Beatrix Potter's home, Hill Top Farm. After an opportunity for refreshments, the route then descends to the shores of Windermere for a ride back along the new cycle path and the return boat trip.
