This is a ride where we will be cycling out to Rochester and then doing a cycle tour there in the afternoon.
We will start by meeting up at Cutty Sark Gardens and will then cycle out eastwards along the Thames Path, making use of the brand new "missing link" section, which takes us to Woolwich.
You can also meet us at the car entrance to the Woolwich Ferry at 10.15am.
We then join the newly refurbished Ridgeway cycle path, which now includes a Bexley section, out to Southmere Lake and Lesnes Abbey. We then make our way through Erith, Dartford and past Bluewater out to Nell's Cafe (

After lunch Alan Stirling has agreed to give us a cycle tour of historic Rochester.
The ride finishes at Rochester Station, where you can take fast trains back to Bromley South and Vistoria. Alternatively you can join those who want to cycle back to back to Woolwich.
