If you’re fairly confident on your bike and ready to broaden your cycling horizons, our Steady rides are ideal. At a comfortable pace, and possibly with some modest hills along the way, rides take place on mainly quiet roads with plenty of sights along the way. Rides are between 6 and 20 miles long, at a moderate pace of between 7 and 10 miles an hour. In collaboration with the ‘Be active’ scheme and Birmingham City Council, we’re running a special Sky Ride Local ride from Sutton Park. Please copy and paste the following link for more details of additional activities occurring on the day - http://beactivebirmingham.co.uk/archives/1687. This 11 mile family ride takes you through some of the most exclusive areas of real estate in Birmingham. The stunning Sutton Park with its beautiful lakes sets the scene for this great bike ride where you should see various birds, ducks, swans, cows and possibly Dartmoor ponies. A well deserved ice cream could also be on the cards!
