Cycle to Bothwell

From Burnside we’ll head up EK road to high Blantyre road. We’ll drop down into and through Blantyre and arrive in Hamilton. As we continue through Hamilton you’ll see the racecourse then arrive in Bothwell where we’ll have a coffee and toilet stop. We’ll ride along new cycle lane on London road towards Rutherglen and join Clyde cycle path in Rutherglen and head in towards Glasgow Green then return via shawfield stadium and Rutherglen.

This is a steady ride and will be paced between 10-12 mph. Please remain with the group. If you do find yourself ahead of the group please be prepared to slow and allow group to catch up.

On road parking is available on East Kilbride Road.

Mainly roads and cycle paths.

Coffee and toilet stop at costa coffee Bothwell

Helmets advisable and please bring spare tubes and tools.
