Cutacre and the Outwood Trail

Starting from Leverhulme Park it’s over the bridges to the Roe Green Line which we follow South until it crosses the M60. From that point there is a short road section to Cutacre Country Park. After a quick loop around the park, we move south through Tyldesley to get onto the Guided Busway. After a short café stop its down to Monton and across Drinkwater Park where we turn North and head home. Following the Outwood Trail to Radcliff we cross the canal and pick up the cycle path back to Bolton. The route may well be quite muddy in sections and whilst most of it is along cycle paths there are some unavoidable sections on busy roads. Please bring a helmet, spare inner tube and money for the café stop.
