Starting point

Midlothian
EH12 6AA

Meeting in Roseburn near the new Roseburn Terrace crossing, from here we head into Roseburn Park, then cycle the paths all the way to just beyond Edinburgh Park.
Then cycle under the bypass through the tunnel beside the Gogar Burn & join the path beside Gogar Stn Rd & turn right toward the Heriot Watt Campus.
Pass through the campus exiting onto Currie Hill Rd, turn left & cycle on the roads to the coffee stop.
After the coffee stop there's a very short cycle along Lanark Rd West (approx 0.2ml) to Kirkgate where we turn left to meet the Water of Leith path.
We join the canal path near Longstone & continue on this until Harrison Park, from there we make our way back to Roseburn on the roads.

A steady cycle to Currie on mostly cycle / shared paths, returning by the Water of Leith and canal paths

A great deal of this route is traffic free with a few short sections of roads that are usually quiet at this time of day.

The coffee stop will be at The Corner Cafe in Currie

Helmets are strongly advised, wear clothing appropriate for the weather & it's always a good idea to bring waterproofs. Also bring a means of payment if you wish to buy a refreshment at the stop, bring spare inner tubes should the unthinkable happen & a bike lock if you have one.

We never leave anyone behind
