Starting point

Glamorgan
CF10 4WZ

Starting in Cardiff Bay and heading over the barrage towards Penarth where we get our first little hill. From there we head down to the pier and then up towards Cosmeston Lake and then off towards Barrybados. Another bit of a hill to take us from Barry Island and out towards Five Mile Lane where we head back towards our favourite lanes around Petterston. From there we head back into to Cardiff via Ely and back to the bay.

To celebrate the longest day we will be making the most of the light and doing a nice long(ish) ride around some of our favourite roads. May even be a pint at the end.

Riding predominantly on main roads and then some quieter country lanes in the Vale. There will be some lumps and bumps on the way to so bring your climbing legs

There are no mid ride stops (unless its for mechanical reasons) but we may stop for a drink in the bay at the end of the ride.

Remember to bring all the spares you need (tubes, multitool etc) and if you are staying back for a drink you will probably want some lights for the trip home. As usual a helmet is highly recommended as is suitable clothes for the conditions on the day.

We never leave anyone behind
