Pedal for a Pint - special surprise!

Let's celebrate!
We're allowed to ride in groups again after a long winter of COVID-19 restrictions.
It's the start of the Easter weekend.
The evenings are light enough to venture out on our bikes.
Hurrah!

This is a beginners ride - nice and flat along the seafront, and mainly on cycle paths (with just a stretch of quiet road - Basin Road - alongside Shoreham Harbour).

We are delighted to announce that Jen, the landlady of the Hand in Hand pub in Kemptown, will be joining us on this ride. She has been taking the pub to the people during lockdown (since the people can't get to the pub) with her 'Hand in the Hood' pub on a bike. We will need to pre-order the drinks we'd like (selection of beers, ciders, and soft drinks) so Jen can load them up on her special bicycle, then we will pay her in cash for what we've ordered once we get to the beach for our 'pub stop'.

We will organise this nearer the time, via the Conversation function for the group booked on the ride, here on Let's Ride.

Jen can't provide snacks however - so bring your own crisps, peanuts, or cake!
Also please bring your own glass or beaker so Jen has less to carry on her trailer.
