Starting point

London
CR0 1GY

Sunday 27th October, a ride around big, beautiful Nonsuch Park in Cheam after visiting Beddington Park and Carshalton Grove. Then we lunch in Cheam and take the exhilarating downhill cycle path to Morden and ride round Morden Park on the path through the trees and go straight to Morden Hall Park. Through there and Ravensbury Park and we use side roads to Mitcham Common and a woodland trail within. Then we use more uninterrupted cycle paths all the way back in straight line to Beddington linking to the short last section of Wandle Trail to Croydon. I have ridden this and it makes a great Sunday ride.

It is 22 miles and we lunch at the halfway point. There are almost no hills. With all the slowish park riding we may be 3 hours in the saddle. There are some bumpy trails so a minimum of 28mm tires. Bring a water bottle and please bring a spare inner tube and a lock.

We leave from Queens Gardens CR0 1GY at 10am. Back there by 3pm.
