A ride on cycle paths and parks to Deptford for a coffee break, then on C10 and C35 through Peckham and the atmospheric old Nunhead Cemetery and Peckham Rye Gardens to another cafe for another break. Then back to Croydon on Waterlink Way and C18 and parks and paths. Both cafes are great btw. The Deptford one lets bikes inside and the Peckham Rye one has a front terrace where bikes can be parked with a lock.

This ride is 28 miles. With two refreshment or lunch stops it will extend through most of the afternoon. You will need a lock for the second cafe stop. If South Norwood Country Park will be muddy we will use the cemetery beside it. This means road bikes can ride all the route. Please bring a spare inner tube.

Start in Queens Gardens CR0 1GY at 10am. Return there 3:30 or 4pm depending on how leisurely we are.
