Croxdale Breeze

Starting at the layby at the North entrance to High Shincliffe we will head past Maiden Castle towards the New Inn pub. Here we will turn left one South Road and follow the road to the Cock of the North roundabout. Then heading down the cycle path alongside the A167 to Sunderland Bride where we will head into Croxdale Estate. We will go up through the estate and join the A177 at Bowburn, then turn left to head back to Shincliffe where we can have refreshments at The Avenue pub. Please remember to bring some money for refreshments. Bring some warm clothing as the evening temperature will cool, also a spare inner tube. This route will be on road until the cock of the north roundabout before continuing the ride off the road.
