THIS IS A RIDE SOCIAL OPEN TO ALL ADULTS
We will try again, after I cancelled this ride last week! Cross Inn forest fire roads, minor roads, open moorland bridleway.
The group will split after 3 miles and those of you wanting a bit more of a challenge can join Dave and traverse the hill on a sheep track to join the bridleway across the ridge, those of you looking for something tamer can join me on the minor road, then going along the bridleway to meet them. Nothing really technical or I wouldn't be doing it ;-)
We'll then head to the poet's monument for a photo opp overlooking Llyn Eiddwen and the whole of the bay, cross the road and climb (or push) to the trig point, and end up with a fantastic grassy descent to the cattle grid. Minor road and the same forestry back to the start. About 10 miles in total. Not a long ride but cycling on grass does sap your energy.
MOUNTAIN BIKE RECOMMENDED. I don't want to exclude anyone if you don't have a mountain bike, but if you're confident cycling on grass/bumpy tracks on a hybrid, then you'll be OK. But you must have grippy tyres. But ideally bring a mountain bike (more grip, stability, suspension etc).
Helmets Essential
E bikes welcome but you must stay with the group
