Crosby for Coffee from Mill Dam Park

From our starting point at Mill Dam Park, Kirkby the route heads out towards Crosby Beach where we get a view of Anthony Gormley's 'Another Place', then to our coffee break at Hightown and a return via Formby, Great Altcar, Aughton Park and back to our starting point at Mill Dam Park. This ride will be led by group member Will.

A circular road route from Mill Dam Park, Kirkby to Crosby and return

This ride is suitable for hybrid bikes (fitted with road and off-road tyres), mountain bikes, road bikes and e-bikes and is mainly on hard surface roads.

We will take our refreshment break at Crosby Coffee Roasters at Hightown.

All riders will be required to wear a helmet and carry spare inner tubes and the means to be able to repair a puncture (assistance will be provided if required). Don't forget some money for the coffee stop.

This is a very scenic route in some excellent cycling countryside and there will be plenty of photo opportunities along the way. We want everyone to enjoy this very friendly group ride so it will be at a pace to suit all riders in the group and to take account of the weather conditions (usually between 9-11 mph). We will never leave anyone behind as we want everyone to enjoy the ride!
