From here we will cycle back on road through Oakenshaw, stopping to admire the latest Rat Lonsdale war memorial before joining the Bishop-Brandon cycle path back to Broompark.
A ride along the Deerness to Wetherspoons in Crook
Mainly off road, with some short stretches on road
We will be stopping for lunch at “The Horseshoe Inn” Crook, previously named loo of the year 2023! It’s another one to tick off the list.
Helmets are always advisable, as is clothing suitable for the weather, a drink, waterproof clothing. We also advise carrying a spare inner tube and tyre levers - we can do the rest.
We especially welcome newbies!
