Kneller Gardens by the tennis courts, Meadway, Twickenham, Greater London, TW2 6PH; Look out for the red Breeze jacket!

If you sign up a friend to a ride, you'll get a free British Cycling water bottle; if you sign up 2 friends, you'll get a buff; if you sign up 3 friends, you'll get a £15 love to shop voucher! This ride is ideal for women and children who are looking for an easy way to get back in the saddle. It is an easy-going ride and great for building confidence for all abilities and ages along a relaxed and traffic-free route. The ride is about 3 miles and we'll be going at a slow/gentle pace. Newcomers, beginners and children are all welcome! We'll take the pace of the slowest person so no one is left behind. A pretty little ride along the river Crane, starting in Kneller Gardens and along into Crane Nature Reserve, passing the magnificent Shot Tower which is now the visitor centre. We can enjoy some refreshments in the cafe in Kneller Gardens after the ride! It's a good idea to bring some water and you may also want to bring a snack. Dress appropriately for the weather: in cold weather it's good to wear lots of thin layers, so you can add/remove them as needed; a pair of warm gloves and warm socks may also be useful. Don’t forget your waterproofs as the ride will take place in any weather, come rain or shine! Wearing a helmet is advisable; if you don’t have one please do not to worry you can still take part.  If you enjoy the bike ride and would like to come again perhaps you could look to buy one then. All children under the age of 16 MUST wear a helmet to take part. We look forward to seeing you!
