Starting point

Midlothian
EH4 2BH

From the meeting point head along the Blackhall path to Silverknowes then onto Barton Ave, from there make a left turn to Davidsons Mains Park. The route takes the path around the edge of the park and into the wooded area behind the Royal High School leading to Barnton Park Cres.
At Whitehouse Rd turn right, and right again onto Gamekeepers Rd and then left at the lights & head to Cramond to make the coffee stop. After the coffee stop the route continues to the seafront and along the front passing through Granton and Wardie and onto the Trinity path. At the junction turn right onto the Ferry Road path taking this back to the starting point at Craigleith.
If there is a strong wind from the east we will do the route anti-clockwise to take advantage of the Breeze.

Route rating

0 stars (0) Reviews

An easy route mostly on cycles paths and along the seafront at Cramond and Wardie.

There are some roads on this route, which are generally quite at this time of day.

We will stop for coffee at the Gathering Space Cafe, Cramond Kirk.

Helmets are strongly advised, wear clothing appropriate for the weather and it's always a good idea to bring waterproofs. Also bring a means of payment if you wish to buy a refreshment at the stop, bring spare inner tubes should the unthinkable happen and a bike lock if you have one.

We never leave anyone behind
