Coypool to Cornwood and Ivybridge Pedal Power Event

We continue through Plympton on road cycle paths where possible. When we reach Sparkwell we pass the Dartmoor Zoo on the B road to Cornwood . We turn South for Ivybridge but carry along beside the railway line until the local road takes to the original bridge and our coffee stop in Ivybridge. We will visit the Pedal Power event. We return to Plympton along the NCN2 and enjoy a different route back through Chaddlewood.

This route takes us through Plympton along the ridgeway to Sparkwell Village and Cornwood. We will continue along B roads to Ivybridge for a coffee stop. Finally returning along the NCN2 which has some new signage and Art added to Plymouth

We will be on local cyclepaths and some National Cycle Network route 2. There will be some on road cycling along narrow lanes and B roads. Also some hills but we will wait at the top, as usual for everyone.

I look forward to showing you some different routes through Plympton. Also following the railway line above Ivybridge is quite scenic along with the river Erme through Ivybridge. Carefully using the NCN2 and traffic lights helps us through busy Ivybridge and avoids the traffic.
