Cows and Cricket

From Great Bowden we'll head out past the prison and then past Foxton locks. We then make our way to Laughton and on to Gumley via, in my opinion, the best road in Leicestershire. It's on this road that we could find sheep, cows and cricketers. After leaving Gumley we'll retrace our steps (wheels) to Great Bowden.

This rural ride takes us out into the heart of the Leicestershire countryside where we may find we have to stop for cows, cricket or both!

We ride on quiet country lanes with little traffic

We'll stop for breathers along the way and also have the chance to enjoy a drink together at the end of the ride.

You must wear a helmet on this ride and it's a good idea to bring a water bottle and a spare inner tube just in case!

We ride at a gentle pace, chatting as we go and we never leave anyone to struggle on their own.
