Couch to 50K Week 8

This is week 8 of the Couch to 50 K and I have been asked to lead a group. It is the final week so it is 31 miles.

From Cotswold Cycles we head out to Evenlode. Then we cross A436 to reach Oddington. There is a short climb through the village and then a wonderful view at the top. We then ride to almost Bledington on the B4450, then up to Icomb (wonderful views). Then cross the Burford road to Upper Rissington. Towards Nether Westcote (to get there a short section on the main road) At Idbury we take a pretty road with lovely views to the left. We descend towards Milton and then go towards Bruern.Then via Kingham, Daylesford,Evenlode to Moreton.
This may be done in reverse.

A coffee stop may be arranged.

This route is mainly on quiet roads with a stretch on the B4450 (Bledington) and a short stretch on the A436 and the Burford to Stow road.

Helmets are compulsory. A spare inner tube and money for a stop.

This is part of the NCCC Couch to 50K. You are welcome to join if you can manage the distance and elevation. If you are less experienced then I suggest you join an easygoing or steady ride and build up.
