We leave Moulden Hill and travel on country roads to Blunsden Station, shortly after we get on the railway path to Cricklade after a few twists and turn we return to the railway track and into the water park. Once there we are off road for about 12 miles until we get back to Cricklade from where we retrace our wheel tracks to Moulden Hill

We have been through our Swindon ride Archives and dug out a route that used to be very popular in days of yore. We will take out to the Cotswold Water Park, Passing close by the quarry where Woolly Mammoths where found a year or so back

Country lanes with lots of off road but flat trails. You won't want to bring your road bike with its skinny tyres on this ride

Once we have completed the loop we will stop refreshments before returning to Swindon

Don’t forget a full water bottle with your favourite thirst quencher. Govt Guidance means face masks are no longer mandatory but we would ask you to bring a face mask as some venues may request it and also first aid may be required. For all our rides you should bring at least a spare inner tube and a pump. If your wheels are bolted-on then a spanner that fits the wheel nuts is also essential. Helmets are not compulsory but most definitely recommended. You should dress appropriately for the weather, and consider bringing your mobile phone along with cash or debit card for the refreshment stop. Some place’s only take card payments.

This won't be a fats ride but much of it is off road so that has the effect of making it seem farter than it is. We always welcome new members to our group rides but we do want you to enjoy the ride so just have a look and see if it is for you
