Costa Great Clifton Circular

A circular ride starting out from Moorclose Leisure Centre on the cycle path which will lead us all the way to Lillyhall and beyond. A section of the ride is on minor roads through Great Clifton before we rejoin the cycle path and circle back round through Workington, pausing for some essential Costa points before finishing back where we started.   Parking is free at the leisure centre. Be aware that a regular 5k run takes place from here on Saturday mornings so there will be more traffic than usual in the car park, The run should be finished around 10am so should not be an issue.   Suited to hybrids or MTB's - probably not good for road bikes at this time of year. We will not leave anyone behind, even in Costa. Please ensure you have a correctly fitted helmet for the ride. It is recomended that you carry a spare inner tube for your bike, perhaps a drink, and a waterproof jacket. It can still be pretty cold at this time of year so please check the forecast and dress for the conditions.
