Leaving the post office we head the usual way down Cookridge lane and over the chevin, heading down Carlton lane into Guiseley, we will head over Oxford road to Victoria road, picking up Back lane popping out on A65, across roundabout at Wetherby Whaler then left onto Guiseley drive and a loop around High Royds, coming into Menston on Main street and follow until we reach the cafe

Back up plan if there is no space (it's a very popular meeting place for locals) is Twenty8, under Wetherby Whaler

Leaving Menston we pick up A65 and retrace the route back to Back lane, we then head across Park road to pick up the Yeadon greenway, we come off at the junior schools onto Crofters lea, then into Westfield estate dropping down to Gill lane, then up to the lghts, turning right upto the roundabout where we turn left to regroup at the fire station, we will zig zag up to Rawdon to take the sting out of the climb, following Layton road to Brownberrie lane down to the Old Ball roundabout, Station road, then left for the climb back up to Cookridge, Tinshill road, left onto Wood Hill road and Green lane and back to the start point
