Combine cycling and conservation on this volunteering day with a twist! Cycle on quiet roads from the lovely village of Greystoke to Eycott Hill Nature Reserve and join a conservation work party helping to restore flower-rich haymeadows to their former glory. No previous volunteer experience is necessary as full training will be given. Distance: approx. 8 miles cycling. Please bring a bike in roadworthy condition, a drink and snacks, and appropriate footwear for a walk over uneven and wet ground. We will take walking boots and wellingtons from the meeting point to the nature reserve for you. Cycle parking is available but please bring your own lock.
