Coniston Water Circular.

This is a free organised ride that is suitable for anyone including families, with any types of bike. The route takes in the beautiful mountainous scenery of Coniston Water. We ride a little bit on a field path then mainly on good roads that goes around the lake. There are a few manageable hills but don't worry if you can't do them, there's no shame in walking up them and everyone wait at the top, we never leave anyone behind, we have all been their, it's a social ride so we like to talk as we ride. I plan to stop by the side of the lake for a picnic 1/2 way around. We will always ride at the pace of the slowest rider so no one is left behind. Our aim for everyone to enjoy their ride. Remember to wear comfortable clothes for cycling in. Also it might be a good idea to bring a waterproof jacket, a bottle of water, a snack for the picnic, a spare inner tube is also a good idea, we also recommend that you wear a helmet.
