Coffee at the Marina

This is a steady ride on minor roads and cycle paths from Park Bike Works, Full street, Derby to Mercia Marina, Willington and back again to Bike works.This ride is 7 miles each way with a good coffee and cake break at the marina and celebratory coffee on completion! The route takes us along route 6 and then on the cycle path along side the ring road and then over Normanton road. We continue along St. Chads street an d then Carlton road, Fairfield rd and through Normanton Park over the ring road and then through Sunnydale Park We carry on through Littleover and then on to Findern over the A 50 and arrive ready for a drink at the Marina. It's a fairly slow pace at 7 miles an hour and very few inclines. So you can enjoy a leisurely cycle with not too much traffic, as when I road the route at the time we will be riding it , the Saturday shoppers must have still been in bed!
