This Higham Hill Guided Rides ride is open for anyone to join

Led by experienced ride leaders, these rides are a great way to explore new places and to meet new people who enjoy cycling. They are suitable for all levels of experience, so whether you are a beginner or a seasoned cyclist, you can find a ride that is right for you.

Cody Dock is a small oasis on the lower River Lea and is home to a gallery, gardens, café and the Line Sculpture trail. We will ride down the Lea on the towpath and return via the Olympic Park.

This is a circular ride mostly off-road on towpaths and cycle lanes with some back streets at the beginning and end.

There will be a café stop half way at Cody Dock.

In light of COVID-19 please note the following:
• Participants must not attend a ride if they have COVID-19 symptoms or have been in contact with anyone with symptoms.
• Do not ride if you have been told to self-isolate.
• This ride is socially distance please respect other riders’ space.
• Bring your own face mask hand sanitiser, tissues and anything else you may need for the ride.
• Bring your own tools – spare inner tube, levers, pump and multitool. The ride leader is a qualified bicycle mechanic and can assist with punctures and any mechanical problems.
• Bring a face mask for any café stops; unless you wish to there is no need to wear one on the ride.
• Please make sure your details on your profile are up-to-date, in particular that we have a phone number for you. If you don’t have a mobile put your home number in the mobile phone box.
