Coastal Cycle on the Prom

Its time to dust off the bikes in the shed and meet up for a leisurely cycle along The Promenade. Wrap up warm as the coastal winds can be a bit breezy but we can warm up at Our coffee stop for posh coffee and cake if you are feeling naughty! This is a social ride for all women looking to get out and about on 2 wheels! It is a 12 mile round trip but at a slower pace and we all know its good to get some sea air and see some of the fantastic sunsets along the Fylde coast. We stick to the coastal cycle paths which take us along the Promenade then onto the road again sticking to the Cycle paths. We normally decide on the day and the ladies choose which direction you would like to go (head wind dependant!) so it could be a cycle to Cleveleysthe or a cycle to St Anne's. Make sure you have some lights for your bike, just in case it gets dark early, and a rain coat, gloves, lots of warm layers are advisable and wool socks to keep your feet warm! This ride is a free for all and whether you are an experienced cyclist, new to cycling or want to improve on your cycling technique. Its often easier to do in a group and we wont leave you behind.
