The Minatour is suitable for real beginners, its a mix of flowy singletrack (so about a meter and half wide for this beginner trail), which is fantastic for learning how to do off road trails. We may also use some of the easier reds too - this depends on the group, and on the leader/s available. If we do any reds, they will be within the groups capabilities and no one is forced to do anything they do not want to do. We are aiming for a very sociable, fun ride and coaching session.

Celebrating women for International Womens Day - this ride is a fantastic way to improve your mountain biking or just come along for a social ride - We will do some coaching in a couple of areas first and then head off on the ride. If you are nervous about whether this is for you or not please email me at [email protected] I will be happy to chat it through.

A mix of blue and easier reds at Coed Y Brenin

We will most definitely end up in the cafe for a cuppa afterwards, and we can stop at any time during the ride too.

Helmets (within date) are a must please, gloves and glasses are advisable but at your discretion. Please bring water, and a snack with you, and any medication you may need. Your bike should be in a good working order and will be checked before the ride - I will show you how to check your own bike which is advisable before any ride. Bring tools and inner tubes if you have them, but I will be carrying kit also. You do not need state of the art kit - if you do not have cycling clothes then things like leggings or tracksuit bottoms are ideal. Along with some warm layers and a waterproof jacket. Please try and bring a little bag with you to be able to put anything you take off, and your water etc in - it is not advisable to have anything tied around your waist. If you do not have mtb shoes, then trainers are absolutely fine - not open toed shoes or flip-flops though please.

We especially welcome newbies!
