Climb the Tower

Starting from Deny Beck Bridge we will travel along the cycle path to the aquaduct from there we have a short distance along the canal and then around the outskirts of Lancaster. We will then cross the river Conder and start the climb to Jubilee Tower from here there is a great view of the bay. Once we have had a brief rest from the climb we will start the decent to Glasson Dock where we will stop for a slice of cake before heading back to Halton along the cycle path. We'll all do the hills at our own pace, and reform at the top. Please check your bike over the night before the ride, tyres inflated, all bolts tight, lubricated. Clothing, Helmet & lights checked & ready. Please aim to be ready to ride 15 mins before the ride start time, getting away on time is good for everyone. This will be a lovely ride with something for everyone. We'll ride at a steady pace of 10-12 mph on this ride and we'll keep our pace at a level so that we can all stay together & have a really pleasant ride.
