Clent Climb

A fairly undulating ride of 21 miles with a bit of a climb up Clent from Bromsgrove station to Nimmings car park.  Along Dordale Road through Belbroughton and Bournheath, this is an out and back route. For women who cycle for fun and enjoy the social side of getting together with others.   It is best suited to those who are already confident at handling their bikes and are looking to build up the distance they can cycle.  It will be at a steady pace to keep us warm, so you will need a reasonable level of fitness.  Suitable for all bike types.  Lots of layering and keep feet and hands warm. A helmet is advisable, pump and spare inner tube essential, bring a drink and snack to keep you going - there is a cafe at Nimmings car park and it’s nice to have a bit of a chat as well.  We always cycle together as a group at the pace of the slowest - if you're willing it’s best to have a stronger rider at the rear if possible.  timings are estimated and may vary depending on the group the weather and puncture repair time!
