Cleator Moor to Whitehaven, Parton and back.

The ride will take us along the cycle path to Whitehaven, then to Bransty and back. We can stop for a drink on the harbour (so bring some money). This ride will be suitable for all abilities but especially beginners, nervous riders or those wanting to get back on their bike after a break and the route is all on good surfaces. There is a big hill up to Bransty but this can be discussed on the night. We will always ride at the pace of the slowest rider so no one is left behind. The aim of the ride is to have a sociable ride in the company of other women, have fun and eat cake. Remember to wear clothes that are comfortable and warm to cycle in. It is a good idea to bring a waterproof jacket, a spare inner tube and a bottle of water and we always prefer that you wear a cycle helmet.
