Cleator Moor to Whitehaven, Parton and back.

The ride will take us along the cycle path to Whitehaven, then we head down the harbour side up to Tesco's where we will go down the Wagon Road to Parton. We will then return to the harbour and stop for coffee (so bring some money) and afterwards we head back up the way we have come to Cleator Moor. This ride will be suitable for all abilities but especially beginners, nervous riders or those wanting to get back on their bike after a break, the route is all on good surfaces and will be suitable for all bike types.  We will always ride at the pace of the slowest rider so no one is left behind. The aim of the ride is to have a fun sociable ride in the company of other women, build up confidence in our riding in a supportive group environment, as well ask questions about bikes and riding, and make links with others. All welcome and we will not leave anyone behind  Remember to wear clothes that are comfortable and warm to cycle in.  It is a good idea to bring a waterproof jacket, a spare inner tube and a bottle of water.  We always recommend that you wear a cycle helmet.
