In the car park next to the Phoenix bridge in Cleator Moor. Just off the town square and slightly towards Whitehaven and on your right.

A popular and nice n' easy route for a Sunday jaunt. Along the cycle path, then through to Kirkland then back down through Ennerdale Bridge and back up to Wath Brow. There may be a chance to go down to the lake if anyone wishes so bring a snack to munch on if the weather is forgiving or we can stop at one of the pubs in Ennerdale Bridge, it's up to you.  This ride is suitable for all abilities, the route is mainly on tarmac roads and cycletracks and will be suitable for all bike types. We always ride at the pace of the slowest rider so no one is left behind. The aim of the ride is to have a fun sociable ride in the company of other women, build up confidence in our riding in a supportive group environment, as well ask questions about bikes and riding, and make links with others. All welcome and we will not leave anyone behind. Please remember to wear clothes that are comfortable and warm to cycle in, particularly be aware that hands and feet can quickly get cold when cycling so good gloves and warm footwear are a good idea. It is also advisable to bring a waterproof jacket, a spare inner tube for your bike and a bottle of water. A Garmin map of the ride: http://connect.garmin.com/course/5478880
