There is some limited parking at the village hall itself and in the village. The nearest train station is one mile away at Wylam on the Newcastle-Hexham line, NE40 3SY

Starting from Clara Vale, in the Tyne Valley, the route follows the south side of the River Tyne as far as Newburn, then across the river and back along the north side of the river to Wylam, then back to Clara Vale. This is an easy, flat ride on off-road cycle paths. We will finish at Clara Vale with an optional tea or coffee and home made cake at the village hall.
