Free, women-only bike rides led by experienced Breeze Champions. They are a great way to get started in cycling or to improve your skills, whether you are a beginner or a seasoned cyclist.

Chalet cafe, Preston Park, Brighton

A longer Breeze route for sportive or challenge ride training. We will meet at the Chalet cafe in Preston Park, which also has toilets, ready for a 14:00 start. We will head out of Brighton on the cycle lane alongside the A23. Once we reach Pyecombe, we will follow the route of our popular 'Wayfields Wander' ride, but add an extra 10 mile loop through Hassocks. We may extend the loop around Hassocks slightly (taking in more of Underhill Lane by going straight on in Ditchling rather than turning right) to make the total ride 40 miles (the mapped route is 35 miles). If a group is strong or fast, we may include Devil's Dyke at the end rather than returning alongside the A23. This is a stretching route for those riders who have been building up their miles through the Spring and now want something with an extra challenge. It's a good training ride if you've entered a sportive or challenge ride. Please check your bike before the ride (tyres, brakes, and chain) and bring a couple of spare inner tubes as well as water and snacks. We don't have a planned cafe stop!
