Circular route to Sand Bay From Yatton

This is a fairly flat circular route on traffic free cycle paths and country lanes. Care needs to be taken on a section of the new Pier to Pier path which is loose gravel.

We will meet at Yatton Station car park (.Please Note Post code BS49 4AJ) The rate per day is £2.70. Rachel and I will be wearing British Cycling red gilets.

We will start riding down the Strawberry Line before cycling on country lanes to Sand Bay, returning via a short stretch of the newly opened Pier to Pier route to Kingston Seymour and back to Yatton.

We will hopefully stop at Sand Bay tearooms ( or the Cosy hatch fish and chip shop if it has reopened by 9th.)

Please wear a helmet and bring a spare inner tube and lock if you have one. Check your bike is road worthy. You will need some money for parking and refreshments.
