Circular ride round the lanes west of York

We will start the ride outside the Minster. The ride will head out along the river to Rowntrees Park across to Bishopthorpe Rd and then out through the villages to Bolton Percy. At Bolton Percy we will stop for a well earned drink and cake and of course a chat! From Bolton Percy we will head to Oxton and then return to York via Wighill, Healaugh and Askham Bryan. The route is mainly flat and will be around 28 miles. Don't forget to bring a spare inner tube and a rain coat. Also as we are stopping for coffee a bit money! Please arrive a few minutes before so that we can go through the pre ride checks. Looking forward to a lovely ride, chat and cake as well as enjoying the beautiful countryside to the west of York.
