Starting point
Outside Savills estate agents by a tree with a circular seat around its trunk
We shall ride on quiet roads, part of the canal towpath through Rickmansworth, beyond the M25 to Heronsgate and then back to Cafe in the Park in the Aquadrome before we return to Northwood.
Please bring a padlock and I recommend you carry a spare inner tube and your oyster card.
The route is suitable for road bikes, although there are short traffic free sections, for example the canal towpath, that can be muddy/gravelly. If necessary these sections can be walked.
