Starting next to the River Nith in Dumfries town centre we have a lovely circular route along riverside to Kingholm Quay then up a small hill towards Crichton Campus that is green and full of interesting buildings and businesses. Return back to starting point down a hill through local park. This will be an easy going ride taking in sights of Dumfries including bridges and admiring wildlife.

Meet across the road from the Frothy Bike Co coffee and bike shop on 77 - 79 White sands of Dumfries

Pedestrian and cycle way along Route 7 and some short sections on roads

We will stop at Kingholm Quay to look at boats and river and scenic views so bring water bottle if you want a drink

Helmets, suitable clothing, spare inner tube and tyre levers essential. Dress for variable Scottish weather.
