Cinnamon buns at Clanfield via RAF Broadwell

This route starts at Sherborne (by the allotments). We follow Sherborne Brook through the long pretty village until it meets the Windrush at Little Barrington. At Little Barrington we will continue to follow the Windrush along an aptly named street Middle Road until we reach Tanners Lane on the outskirts of Burford. We cross the A40 here. (there is a footpath which makes it slightly easier). We cycle through some delightful villages- Westwell, Holwell and maybe even spotting some giraffes when we skirt behind Burford Wildlife Park. Then we cycle along the old runway- RAF Broadwell . Finally, picking up the familiar lane Calcroft Lane which leads us to Clanfield and their famous cinnamon buns. We return through a couple of delightful Oxfordshire villages Filkins and Langford and along the lonely road to the A40 where we cross over to Little Barrington.
