Christmas to Chorley

Another classic Breeze ride. Probably one of the first I did myself when I first did a Breeze ride. Along country lanes and the canal. A few little inclines but nothing too long or sustained. Mainly flat. The canal tow path is a slightly rough surface, although it has bedded in over the last year.

7 - 8 mph average speed

Let's have a nice festive pedal from Rivington to Chorley. A bit of tinsel on the bike never goes a miss. Then a nice cafe stop in Chorley before we make our way back.

This is a classic route that many of the local Breeze leaders have been doing for many years. Setting off from Rivington along country lanes. We will pick up the canal at Limbrick and on towards Chorley, returning on mainly roads but again quiet where possible.

A nice cafe stop in Chorley for a light brunch/lunch.

Please make sure your bike is in good working order, we aren't mechanics !! Make sure you have an inner tube to fir your bike as they are all different. Cash/card for cafe stop, which is over half way round. A lock for the cafe. No helmet = no ride.
