Christmas Ride - Powys Castle

Meet in Powys Castle Car Park and cycle out of the castle grounds down towards Coed y Dinas Garden Centre. Turn right and head towards the roundabout, straight on past the airport and up towards Forden. Straight on heading towards Montgomery but turn right at the T junction back towards Caerhowell. Under the railway bridge to Garthmyl, turning right towards Welshpool. After about a mile turn left to Berriew, past the School up the hill and then turn right into Red Lane and back to the Castle for tea and cake. AS IT'S A CHRISTMAS RIDE HOW ABOUT DECORATING YOUR BIKE WITH TINSEL OR WEAR A SILLY HAT (as long as you still have a helmet on)
