Christmas Lunch on the Burton Marshes

Today’s ride will start at 11am at Hooton Railway Station. There are frequent trains from Chester, Ellesmere Port, the Wirral and Liverpool. There are great lifts at the station to get you and your bike from 1 platform to another. If you are coming by car, there is a large car park with security and it is 80p to park there all day. Today's ride will take us from Hooten station along the Wirral Way and down onto the new cycle Path on Burton Marshes with great views across to North Wales and the hills. We shall stop at Nets Cafe for a Xmas lunch which will be put on for us for £5pp including a nice bowl of hot soup, a sandwich and a mince pie. As its nearly Christmas we shall make this ride a "festive one", so if you want to add some Xmas glamour to your bike please do so! - There will be a small prize for the best dressed bike/rider!
